Mr. Karnbosek stated that one real estate agent withdrew from handling the sale of his propea-ty, and <br />the one he is currently working with has been ~n the business for 11 years. He noted that while the <br />assessed property value may not change, the market value does change with the proximity of a <br />monopole. He does not believe that moving the tower 600 feet to the east would affect the function <br />of the tower. <br /> <br />Ms. Jane Butler stated that she is a cancer patient and asked about the safety of radiation emission. <br /> <br />Mr. Coyle responded that it is harmless. The tower emits less power wattage than the remote control <br />of a TV or a microwave oven. Radiation issues are exclusively regulated by the Federal <br />Communications Commission fFCC). <br /> <br />Commissioner Jensen asked if the City would receive a regulatory report from the FCC. <br /> <br />Mr. Coyle stated that the FCC does not prepare inspection reports.
