Chairperson Bawden requested that the tower be moved as far north on the site as possible. He <br />stated tl~ he would support APTs request to delete the reference under item No. 8 regarding ionized <br />radiation. <br />Motion by Commissioner LaDue, seconded by Commissioner Terry to approve the findings in the <br />~t~rmative and amend No. 8 to eliminate reference to ionizing radiation. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners La.Due, Terry, Deemer and <br />Jensen. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Holland and Thorud. <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer, seconded by Commissioner Jensen to recommend City Council <br />approval of the conditional use permit for APT, based on: 1) the tower be moved as far to the <br />northwest as possible; 2) the letter submitted by Jane Butler; 3) and compliance with the new City <br />ordinance on PCS towers. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Chairperson Bawden; Commissioners Deemer, ~Iensen, LaDue and <br />Ten'y. Voting no: None. Absent: Commissioners Holland and Thomd. <br /> <br />Case #7: Reschedule November Meeting <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik reported that there is a school bosrd election scheduled for Tuesday, <br />November 4, the regular meeting night of the Planning Commission. No City meetings may take <br />place during the election. The Planning Commission can meet after the polls close at 8:00 p.m. or <br />on another night. <br /> <br />Motion by Commission Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Terry to resehedule the regular <br />November meeting of the Planning Commission from 7:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Chairperson Bawden; Commissioners Deemer, Jensen, LaDue and <br />Terry. Voting no: None.
