Three digital temperature indicators will be located inside the storage building, and three <br />will be located inside the main building, along with audible and visual temperature level <br />signals at each location. In addition, temperatures will be monitored remotely by Vision- <br />Ease's security/fire alarm system monitoring provider. <br /> <br />The building will be electrically heated to maintain a minimum interior temperature of <br />approximately 50 degrees Fahrenheit, and will have a thermostatically controlled exhaust <br />fan to provide ventilation during the summer months. <br /> <br />The following items are enclosed for your information: <br /> <br />a) <br />b) <br />c) <br /> <br />d) <br />e) <br /> <br />Site location map <br />Site plan <br />Memo from Kevin Conley, Vision-Ease's architect, dated 8-25-97 <br />regarding guidelines for storage of peroxides. <br />Draft Planning Commission meeting minutes dated 9/2/97 <br />Proposed development permit <br /> <br />The Planning Commission reviewed the site plan on September 2 and recommended <br />approval. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />Code requires building exteriors to be natural or artificial stone unless otherwise <br />approved by Council. The Planning Commission is recommending approval of the metal <br />building as proposed as it will be screened on 3 sides by an earth berm that exceeds the <br />height of the building. The only exposed part of the building will be the entrance on the <br />north wall.
