Approximately $27,558 can <br />be eliminated from the 1998 Streets and Parks budget requests for additional part-time <br />temporaw help. With the addition of a full-time Community Development Assistant, one <br />of the part-time intern positions in Community Development can be eliminated to free up <br />$18,548. Wages paid to the Volunteer Fire Chief in 1996 cost the City $4,139.
