Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #97-09- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF LOT 1 AND LOT lA, BLOCK 1, <br />BUSINESS PARK 95 FOURTH ADDITION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council, pursuant to the authority granted it by City Charter <br />Chapter Section 12.5 adopted Ordinance #96-01, which Ordinance approved the sale of Lot I <br />and Lot lA, Block 1, BUSINESS PARK 95 FOURTH ADDITION (the "Lot"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Lot is a "Torrens" lot as classified by the Anoka County Registrar of <br />Titles office; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Anoka County Registrar of Titles office, prior to accepting a <br />conveyance of the Lot by the City, requires that the City adopt a Resolution authorizing the Lot's <br />sale, notwithstanding Ordinance #96-01. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That Lot 1 and lA, Block 1, BUSINESS PARK 95 FOURTH ADDITION may be sold <br />upon terms and conditions previously authorized by City Courtcil. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That the City's Mayor and City Administrator are authorized to execute a deed and other <br />necessary conveyance documents in order to effectuate the sale of said Lot 1 and Lot IA, <br />Block 1, BUSINESS PARK 95 FOURTH ADDITION. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> Zimmerman and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:. <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted bY'the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 23rd day of September 1997. <br /> <br /> <br />
