Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 97-09- <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF A HOME OCCUPATION PERMIT <br />BASED ON FINDINGS OF FACT # AND DECLARING TERMS OF PERMIT FOR <br />A HAIR AND NAIL SALON IN THE SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution No. 97-09- adopting <br />Findings of Fact #~ for this use and herein approves the Home Occupation Permit subject to <br />the following conditions. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />On , I997, a Home Occupation P¢rmit ("Permit") was issued by the City of <br />Ramsey ("City") to Barbara Nelson ("Permit Holder") to establish a hair and nail salon in the <br />dwelling on the property generally known as 5211 155th Lane N.W. and legally described as <br />follows: <br /> <br />Lot 12, Block 3, Woodland Green, Anoka County, Minnesota <br />("Subject Property:") <br /> <br />This permit is issued pursuant to Section 9.03.04 and 9.11.04 of the Ramsey City Code. The <br />conditions of this permit are as follows: <br /> <br />That this resolution shall allow for the establishment and operation of a hair and nail <br />salon on the Subject Property. <br /> <br />Should the Permit Holder die or move to a new location, the Permit shall be <br />automatically terminated, except that in the case of death, should a surviving spouse or <br />child, residing at the same address, desire to continue the home occupation, written notice <br />to that effect shall be given to the City Administrator and the City Council may authorize <br />continuation of the Permit without further hearing. <br /> <br />The area devoted to the home occupation shall not exceed twenty percent (20%) of the <br />total floor area of the private dwelling. <br /> <br />4 <br /> <br />Adequate water supply and on-site sewage disposal facilities shall be the responsibility of <br />the Permit Holder. <br /> <br />5. Adequate off-street parking shall be provided by the Permit Holder. <br /> <br />6.
