Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 97-09- A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF A HOME OCCUPATION PERMIT BASED ON FINDINGS OF FACT # AND DECLARING TERMS OF PERMIT FOR A HAIR AND NAIL SALON IN THE SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution No. 97-09- adopting Findings of Fact #~ for this use and herein approves the Home Occupation Permit subject to the following conditions. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: On , I997, a Home Occupation P¢rmit ("Permit") was issued by the City of Ramsey ("City") to Barbara Nelson ("Permit Holder") to establish a hair and nail salon in the dwelling on the property generally known as 5211 155th Lane N.W. and legally described as follows: Lot 12, Block 3, Woodland Green, Anoka County, Minnesota ("Subject Property:") This permit is issued pursuant to Section 9.03.04 and 9.11.04 of the Ramsey City Code. The conditions of this permit are as follows: That this resolution shall allow for the establishment and operation of a hair and nail salon on the Subject Property. Should the Permit Holder die or move to a new location, the Permit shall be automatically terminated, except that in the case of death, should a surviving spouse or child, residing at the same address, desire to continue the home occupation, written notice to that effect shall be given to the City Administrator and the City Council may authorize continuation of the Permit without further hearing. The area devoted to the home occupation shall not exceed twenty percent (20%) of the total floor area of the private dwelling. 4 Adequate water supply and on-site sewage disposal facilities shall be the responsibility of the Permit Holder. 5. Adequate off-street parking shall be provided by the Permit Holder. 6. There shall be no exterior or interior display of business signs. I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I
