Enclosed please fred the proposed 1998 Cable TV Commission budget drafted by the Budget Committee and approved by the Quad Cities Cable Commission at its September 4, 1997 meeting. The Joint and Cooperative Agreement's Article X. FINANCIAL MATTERS, Section 4. reads as follows: "A proposed budget for the ensuing calendar year shall be formulated by the Commission and submitted to the members on or before December 1,. 1982, and thereafter on or before September 1. Such budget shall be deemed approved by a member unless, prior to December 31, 1982, and thereafter prior to October 15preceding the effective date of the proposed budget, the member gives notice in writing to the Commission that it is withdrawing from the Commission. Final action adopting budget for the ensuing calendar year shall be taken by the Commission on or before December 31, 1982 and thereafter on or before November 1 of each year." Due to some re-evaluation of full-rime Producers' job description by the Personnel Committee, the budget was not approved until September this year.
