I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />3) Visioning for Ramsey <br /> <br /> City Administrator Schroeder announced that staff will be sending out the post cards to all <br /> residents telling them of the visioning meeting scheduled for Thursday, September 18, 1997. <br /> <br />4) Groundbreaking <br /> <br /> City Administrator Schroeder announced a groundbreaking for Spectrum Fixtures at the east end <br /> of McKinley, for September 3, 1997, at 5:15 p.m. <br /> <br />5) Vision-Ease Lens <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroeder reported that Vision-Ease Lens is open and operating and will be <br />hosting a grand opening celebration on September 8, 1997, with a ribbon cutting at 10:00 a.m. <br /> <br />6) Youth First <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec announced the Youth First Town Meeting scheduled for 7:00 p.m., September 11, <br />1997, at the Ramsey Elementary School. <br /> <br />7) Community Burn <br /> <br />Councilmembers Zimmerman and Beyer thanked Fire Chief Kapler for ali the hard work the Fire <br />Department did for the community burn of all the brush from the July I, 1997 storm. <br /> <br />Chief Kapler commented that it went extremely well and told of the assistance received from the <br />Elk River and Andover Fire Departments. <br /> <br />It was also noted that A1 Pearson deserved a thank you for the use of his property to store brush <br /> <br />for the burn. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: <br />Voting No: <br /> <br />Beahen and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to adjourn the <br /> <br /> Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Beahen, Beyer and Zimmerman. <br />None.
