ORDINANCE #11 -02 <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING <br />THE SALE OF CERTAIN CITY OWNED <br />PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY. <br />The City of Ramsey ordains: <br />SECTION 1. PURPOSE <br />It is the purpose of this Ordi- <br />nance to authorize the City to sell <br />certain real property, which property <br />the City Council has determined is no <br />longer necessary for the City's pur- <br />poses. This Ordinance is adopted <br />pursuant to and under the authority <br />of Section 12.5 of the City Charter. <br />SECTION 2. SALE AUTHORIZA- <br />TION <br />The City Council hereby declares <br />the following legally described real <br />property, owned by the City, as sur- <br />plus property and hereby authorizes <br />its sale. Said property is legally <br />described as follows: <br />Commencing at the North- <br />east corner of the west 10 <br />acres of the east 20 acres of <br />Lot 1, Auditor's Subdivision <br />Number 27, Anoka County, <br />Minnesota, thence south on <br />the east line of said tract a <br />distance of 33.90 feet to the <br />actual point of beginning o f <br />the parcel to be described; <br />thence south a distance of 50 <br />feet; thence west and parallel <br />to the center line of County <br />State Aid Highway No. 7 to <br />the west line of said tract; <br />thence north on the west line <br />of said tract a distance of 50 <br />feet to a point which is 36.81 <br />feet southerly of the North- <br />west corner of said tract; <br />thence east parallel to the <br />center line of said County <br />State Aid Highway No. 7 to <br />the point of commencement. <br />SECTION 3. TERMS OF SALE <br />The City Council has, by a prop- <br />erly enacted motion, determined the <br />consideration and terms upon which <br />the above described property may be <br />sold. <br />SECTION 4. EFFECTIVE DATE <br />This Ordinance becomes effec- <br />tive upon its passage and thirty (30) <br />days after its publication according to <br />law, subject to City Charter Provision, <br />Section 5.7. <br />PASSED by the City Council of the <br />City of Ramsey, Minnesota, the 22nd <br />day of February, 2011. <br />Bob Ramsey <br />Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Jo Ann M.
