ORDINANCE #11 -02 CITY OF RAMSEY ANOKA COUNTY STATE OF MINNESOTA AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF CERTAIN CITY OWNED PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE CITY OF RAMSEY. The City of Ramsey ordains: SECTION 1. PURPOSE It is the purpose of this Ordi- nance to authorize the City to sell certain real property, which property the City Council has determined is no longer necessary for the City's pur- poses. This Ordinance is adopted pursuant to and under the authority of Section 12.5 of the City Charter. SECTION 2. SALE AUTHORIZA- TION The City Council hereby declares the following legally described real property, owned by the City, as sur- plus property and hereby authorizes its sale. Said property is legally described as follows: Commencing at the North- east corner of the west 10 acres of the east 20 acres of Lot 1, Auditor's Subdivision Number 27, Anoka County, Minnesota, thence south on the east line of said tract a distance of 33.90 feet to the actual point of beginning o f the parcel to be described; thence south a distance of 50 feet; thence west and parallel to the center line of County State Aid Highway No. 7 to the west line of said tract; thence north on the west line of said tract a distance of 50 feet to a point which is 36.81 feet southerly of the North- west corner of said tract; thence east parallel to the center line of said County State Aid Highway No. 7 to the point of commencement. SECTION 3. TERMS OF SALE The City Council has, by a prop- erly enacted motion, determined the consideration and terms upon which the above described property may be sold. SECTION 4. EFFECTIVE DATE This Ordinance becomes effec- tive upon its passage and thirty (30) days after its publication according to law, subject to City Charter Provision, Section 5.7.
