Chairperson Elvig commented he was in favor of hearing a presentation by RevTrak. <br />Councilmember Backous agreed. <br />Councilmember Wise suggested other cities be contacted to ask if they can prove the savings <br />from using RevTrak versus billing. <br />Consensus was reached to ask RevTrak to give a presentation and that the City should absorb all <br />the fees. <br />Senior Accountant McAlpine noted RevTrak offers online room rental, which is another bonus. <br />Councilmember Wise asked how long the contract is. <br />Ms. McAlpine responded she does not have the answer to that and will research that. <br />Councilmember Wise suggested looking for a one -year period. <br />Chairperson Elvig raised the possibility of requesting a probation period first. <br />Case #3: Recertification <br />City Administrator Ulrich added this third agenda item. He expressed concern with the tax level <br />for the municipal building and applying for the recertification.
