PUBLIC It-EARING <br />PLANNI]YG COWiMISSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF M-I]NNESOTA <br /> <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />The Ramsw Planning Commission conducted a public heating on Tuesday, October 7, 1997, at the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, R~nsey, Minnesota to hear input <br />regarding a request to rezone certain property from B-1 Business to B-2 Business and R-3 Urban <br />Residential, Case of Rademacher Companies, Inc. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Chairperson David Bawden <br />Commissioner Benjamin Deemer <br />Commissioner Paul Holland <br />Commissioner Sharon Jensen <br />Commissioner Charles LaDue <br />Commissioner Bradley Thorud <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Commissioner Michael Terry <br /> <br />A/so Present: <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br />City Engineer Steve Jankowski <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairperson Bawden convened the public heating at 7:38 p.m. <br /> <br />PRESENTATION <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik stated that the application is to rezone property at the southeast comer <br />of the intersection of 153rd Avenue and Highway 47 fi.om B-1 Business to B-2 Business and <br />Urban Residential. The application includes a subdivision plan to split the property into two lots. <br />The northwest comer will be Lot 1 to be rezoned as B-2 to accommodate a convenience store with <br />gas sales. A small portion of what is to be platted as Outlot A is currently zoned B-I and is proposed <br />to be rezoned R-3 to be developed in the.future with the remainder of the property that is zoned R-3. <br />The City is currently under a moratorium for rezoning residential land.
