Councilmember RESOLUTION ADOPTING PROPERTY FROM B-1 RESIDENTIAL introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #9740- 510 FINDINGS OF FACT #i~qqbTO REZONE CERTAIN BUSINESS TO B-2 BUSINESS AND R-3 URBAN WHEREAS, the City received an application to rezone certain property in accordance with Section 9.03.03 of the Ramsey City Code; and NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: That Rademacher Companies, Inc., hereinafter referred to as "Applicant", has properly applied to rezone certain property fi.om B-I Business to B-2 Business and R-3 Urban Residential. ° That the Planning Commission conducted a public hearing pursuant to Section 9.03.03 of the City Code on September 2, 1997 and that said public hearing was properly advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated by reference. 3. That the property proposed to be rezoned is legally described as follows: From B-1 Business to R-3 Urban Residential: That part of the Southwest Quarter of Section 24, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota, described as follows: Commencing at the northwest comer of GORHAM'S SANDY ACRES ESTATES, said Anoka County, according to the recorded plat thereof; thence southerly along the west line of said GORHAM'S SANDY ACRES ESTATES a distance of 330.00 feet; thence westerly parallel with the north line of said Southwest Quarter a distance of 660.00 feet to the point of beginning of the land to be described; thence continue westerly along last said parallel line a distance of 334.55 feet; thence southwesterly, deflecting to the left, 23 degrees 44 minutes 38 seconds to the centerline of State Trunk Highway No. 47; thence southeasterly along said centerline to the intersection with a line, perpendicular to said centerline, that passes through the point of beginning; thence northeasterly along a line perpendicular to said centerline to the point of beginning (hereinafter referred to as section "B").
