ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY To Whom It May Concern: Separate sealed bids for the Curbside Recycling Program for the City of Ramsey will be received by the City of Ramsey at the office of the Acting City Administrator, or designee, until 11:00 A.M. on Friday, October 31, 1997, at which time, at said office, bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Principal components of the project include the following: 1. Provide every other week curbside recycling collection service to approximately 5,300 households in the City of Ramsey. 2. The recycling program will be a co-mingled system with a container provided by the City. 3. The co-mingled program shall include, at the minimum, the following materials: new.:print glass unsorted aluminum, steel and "tin" cans mixed paper corrugated cardboard phone books other materials as mutually agreed upon by the City and Contractor. 4. The program will also include the contractor to provide for bi-annual recycling days which shall include the following minimum services: 1. Six (6) roll-offboxes, or equivalent. 2. All required labor for collection and removal of materials collected. 3. Trucking services for the delivery and removal of the roll-offboxes. Copies of the contract documents may be examined and/or obtained at the City Offices of the City of Ramsey located at Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W. Ramsey, MN 55303. No bidder may withdraw their bid for at least sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids. The City of Ramsey reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
