did not want this amendment to pass, but now they have to uphold it because the people have
spoken.

Art Raudio, 1404 S. Broadway, Sauk Rapids, (property owner in Ramsey) asked to add
discussion of his Highway #47 property to tonight's agenda.

Tom Kurak, 15001 Sunfish Lake Boulevard NW, Ramsey, felt that due to the just passed Charter
amendment, the City will be stuck with resolving a lot of issues. He felt that the citizens of
Ramsey had no idea that this amendment might result in monetary damage to the City and the
City does not have insurance for this type of thing. Therefore, the money will have to "come out
of the pockets of citizens". What one amendment created for Haubrichs, this amendment takes
away. Therefore, Mr. Haubrich, for one, would be able to demonstrate that the City took from
him the ability to develop a plat. The population needs information and he feels it's up to
Council to inform the residents.

A?PROVEAGENDA

Councilmember Haas Steffen stated she would like the revised organizational chart pulled from
the Consent Agenda and placed on the regular agenda.

Councilmember Zimmerman asked that discussion of the AMM membership also be pulled from
the Consent and added to the regular agenda.

Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman and seconded by Councilmember Haas Steffen to
approve the agenda with the following additions: Case #15: Discuss Highway #47 Property;
Request of Art Raudio; Case #16: Adopt Revised Organizational Chart; and Case #I7:
Approve AMM Membership.

Motion carried.
