Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #97-11- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING 8TH PARTIAL PAYMENT TO ALBERG WATER <br />SERVICES, LLC FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #96-21 (CONSTRUCTION OF <br />WELL NO. 3) AND IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #97-22 (CONSTRUCTION OF WELL <br />NO. 4) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey approved Improvement Project <br />#96-21 on February 13, 1996; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on September 9, 1996, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted <br />Resolution #96-09-217 awarding the bid to Alberg Water Services, LLC for the construction of <br />Well No. 3 (Improvement Project #96-21); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on May 13, 1997, the Ramsey City Council approved Project #97-22 and <br />awarded the bid (which was included as a separate schedule with the bids for Well No. 3) to <br />Alberg Water Services, LLC for the construction of Well No. 4 at the contract price of $81,455; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, previous payments have been issued to Alberg Water Services, LLC for <br />Well No. 3 (Improvement Project #96-21) in the amount orS115,991.26; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Engineer Steve Jankowski has inspected the completed work and <br />recommends partial payment to Alberg Waters Services, LLC in the amount of $20,699.96. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />4) <br /> <br />That the City Council hereby authorizes final payment to Alberg Water Services, LLC for <br />the construction of WelI No. 3 (Improvement Project #96-21) in the amount of $5,924.22 <br />and partial payment to Alberg Water Services, LLC for the construction of Well No. 4 <br />(Improvement Project #97-22) in the amount of 14,775.74 for a total payment of <br />$20,699.96. <br /> <br />That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City <br />Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. <br /> <br />That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of <br />bills for the month of November, 1997. <br /> <br />That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this <br />resolution. <br /> <br /> <br />
