ICouncilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />1 RESOLUTION #97-10-XXX <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING CLIMB THEATRE, INC. APPLICATION FOR A <br />PREMISE PERMIT FOR LAWFUL GAMBLING AT THE LIGHTHOUSE GRILL AND <br />BAR <br />WHEREAS, CLIMB Theatre, Inc. has applied for a premise permit for gambling at The <br />Lighthouse Bar and Grill, 6937 Highway #10 NW, Ramsey; and <br />WHEREAS, CLIMB Theatre, Inc. is a theater company from St. Paul, Minnesota; and <br />WHEREAS, CLIMB Theatre, Inc. has requested Council waive the 30-day notice <br />provision; and <br />WHEREAS, the Gambling Control Board Division of the Department of Gaming <br />requires the City of Ramsey adopt a resolution specifically approving or denying the application. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the premise permit application for <br />CLIMB Theatre, Inc. to operate lawful gambling at The Lighthouse Bar and Grill, 6937 <br />Highway #10 NW, Ramsey. <br />2) That the Ramsey City Council agrees to waive the 30-day notice provision. <br />3) That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes the Finance Officer to sign the <br />application and any other documents required by the Minnesota Gambling Control Board. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />/it <br />
