CASE <br /> <br />REQUEST FOR A VARIANCE TO CONSTRUCT AN ACCESSORY STRUCTURE <br />NEARER THE FRONT PROPERTY LINE THAN THE PRINCIPAL STRUCTURE; <br />CASE OF WAYNE SKOCHENSKI <br /> By: Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />City Code states that accessory structures shall not be constructed nearer the front property line than the <br />principal structure. Wayne Skochenski is requesting a variance to construct an accessory garage nearer <br />the front property line than the principal structure at 9450 176th Avenue NW. The parcel is <br />approximately 2 acres in size, and the house is located approximately 390 feet from the front property <br />line. He is proposing to construct a garage which will be approximately 305 feet from the front property <br />line. <br /> <br />The following items are enclosed for your information: <br /> <br />a) Site location map <br />b) Site plan and supporting documents <br />c) Proposed Findings of Fact <br />d) Proposed Variance <br /> <br />Notification: <br /> <br />Properties within 500 feet of the Skochenski property were notified of the public hearing. <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />The site plan submitted reveals that mature tree growth and septic system location prevent locating an <br />accessory structure in the west side or rear yard.
