CASE # 1 <br /> <br />APPOINTMENT OF CHAIR AND VICE-CHAIR <br />By: Jo Thieling, Recording Secretary <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Each year the Commission must appoint/elect a Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson. This <br />would be for a term to expire December 31, 1997. The Commission may appoint/elect a <br />new Chair or re-elect its previous one. For your information, Chairperson Steffen's <br />appointment to the Charter expires in May.
