I am very <br />interested in getting involved with local government and I believe the Charter <br />Commission would be an excellent opportunity. As was requested in the <br />Ramsey Resident, I am including my work experience, education, government <br />service history, and reasons why I am interested in the Charter Commission. <br /> <br />.50 <br /> <br />Work Experience <br />92-93 Minnesota Supercomputer Center, Minneapolis, MN; Operations <br /> Technician and Network Systems Administrator. <br /> <br />93~96 Medtronic, Fridley, MN; Network Engineer. <br /> <br />96-Present LDSi Consulting, Minneapolis, MN; Consultant and Technical <br />Manager <br /> <br />Education History <br />I have a M.$. and a B.S. from the University of Minnesota in Physics. As a <br />computer consultant I am also a Certified Netware Engineer and Microsoft <br />Certified Professional. <br /> <br />Government Service <br />I have no experience in City government. I was a volunteer fireman in the <br />unincorporated Silica Volunteer Fire Department. <br /> <br />Why I am interested in the Charter Commission <br />I believe that everyone should contribute to their community. My wife and I have <br />lived in Ramsey for over three years, and I think I have a fair understanding of <br />the issues that the Charter Commission is concerned with. Topics such as <br />extending the' MUSA line, changes to election policy, and the rate of growth of <br />the city concern everyone in Ramsey.
