and 3 of Block 7, Klemish Addition, and the two unplatted lots that have been subsequently <br />created from the eastern portion of Lot 3. The southerly portion of the plat is currently occupied by <br />a grocery store and a former bank building and the northerly parcel is occupied by a residential <br />homestead. The purpose of the replat is to achieve one lot for each of the commercial structures <br />that would accommodate appropriate setbacks in the B-1 Business District. The remainder of Lot 2 <br />will remain a residential homestead. Because there are no new lots created, there would be no park <br />dedication obligations to fulfill. The Planning Commission reviewed the plat and recommended <br />approval. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Beahen and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman to adopt <br />Resolution ~96-11-331 granting final plat approval to Muller Addition. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Hardin, Councilmembers Beahen, Zimmerman, Beyer and <br />Peterson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #4: <br /> <br />Assumption of Approved Site Plan for Lot 1, Block 3, Business Park <br />95 Second Addition; Case of Heritage Millwork <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik stated that, earlier this year, the Council approved a site plan for a <br />new Copper Sales facility to be developed on Lot 1, Block 3, Business Park 95 Second Addition. <br />That development did not occur, however, with minor modifications, the site plan will suit the <br />needs of Heritage Miltwork. City staff recommends entering into the agreement with Heritage <br />Millwork. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman and seconded by Councilmember Beahen to conf'n-m the <br />assumption of the development of Lot 1, Block 3, Business Park 95 Second Addition by Heritage <br />Millwork. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Hardin, Councilmembers Zimmerman, Beahen, Beyer and <br />Peterson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #5: <br /> <br />Adopt Proposed Ordinances to Establish Regulations for Parking <br />Vehicles and Equipment in the Residential' Districts and Modifying <br />Lot Coverage Restrictions <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik stated that Council introduced an ordinance on November 12 to <br />establish regulations for parking vehicles and equipment in the single family residential districts <br />and an ordinance to modify lot coverage restrictions in the residential dislricts to include prepared <br />surfaces in the R-1 Urban and R-1 Rural areas. These ordinances are now eligible for adoption. <br /> <br />Councilmember Beyer stated she would like adoption of these ordinances tabled because the tour <br />of properties in the City that was discussed at the last meeting was never scheduled. <br /> <br />Mayor Hardin inquired if Councilmember Beyer had specific items of concern. <br /> <br />Councilmember Beyer replied that she had requested a tour prior to adoption. <br /> <br />Councilmember Zimmerman stated he would like to be a part of this tour. <br /> <br />Councilmember Beyer understood that Council was going to be able to look at the properties for <br />which the City would proceed with prosecution. <br /> <br />Councilmember Peterson stated he cannot see the connection of looking at trouble spots in Ramsey <br />and whether or not we should adopt this ordinance.
