CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, October 28, I997, at the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Carolyn Beahen <br />Councilmember Sheila Beyer <br />Councilmember Natalie Haas Steffen <br />Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Acting City Administrator Linda Waite Smith <br />Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular meeting of the City Council to order at 7:03 p.m. and led in the <br />Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Douglas Fountain, 15255 Garnet Street NW, Ramsey, suggested there was a verbal agreement <br />with Mr. Schroeder and the people on the western boundary of Alpine Park concerning a chain <br />link fence. He wondered where that agreement stands now that Mr. Schroeder is no longer City <br />Administrator. He also expressed concern about the location of the skating rinks at Alpine and <br />that he hoped there would be no more pine trees cut down. <br /> <br />Council was not aware of any agreements regarding a fence but offered to check with the Parks <br />Department on all of Mr. Fountain's issues. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Beahen and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to approve the <br />agenda as presented. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Beahen, Beyer, Haas Steffen and <br />Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Beahen and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to approve the <br />following items on the Consent Agenda: <br /> <br />City Council/October 28, 1997 <br /> Page 3 of 16 <br /> <br /> <br />
