9.15.18 VIOLATIONS <br /> <br /> Any person who shall violate any of the provisions of this Section shall be guilty of <br />a misdemeanor. <br /> <br /> ~I. JMMARY <br /> <br />The following official summary of Ordinance #96- has been approved by the City <br />Council of tho City of Ramsey as clearly informing the public of the intent and effect of the <br />Ordinance. <br /> <br />In order to accommodate the communication needs of residents and business while <br />protecting the public health, safety, and general welfare of the community, the Council <br />finds that these regulations are necessary in order to: <br /> <br /> (a) facilitate the provision of wireless telecommunication services to the <br />residents and businesses of the City; <br /> <br />(b) minimize adverse visual effects of towers through careful design and siting <br />standards; <br /> <br /> (c) avoid potential damage to adjacent properties from tower failure through <br />structural standards and setback requirements; and, <br /> <br /> (d) maximize the use of existing and approved towers and buildings to <br />accommodate new wireless telecommunication antennas in order to reduce the number of <br />towers needed to serve the community. <br /> <br /> EFFE(~TIVE DATE <br /> <br />The effective date of this Ordinance is thirty (30) days after its passage and publication, <br />subject to City Charter Section 5.07. <br /> <br />Adopted by the Ramsey City Council the day of ,1996. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />City Administrator <br /> <br />Introduction Date: <br />Posting Dates <br />Adoption Date: <br />Publication Date: <br />Effective Date: <br /> <br />31 <br /> <br /> <br />
