Monthly Status Report

Pending/
Frolik

9/21/93

On the next regular Horse Care Board agenda; include a case by Harvey
Wibeto regarding proposed minimum standards for horse shelters and
fencing.

Pending/
Goodrich

4/12/94

Council asked that the City Attorney and Staff review ordinance to make
sure City Code is as complete in its language as the State Statutes with
regard to Metes and Bounds subdivisions.

Pending/
Frolik

12/13/94

Council voted to table the case on Canvas Craft and set up a committee of
you, Councilmember Hardin and Mayor Gilbertson to meet With Mr.
Franta. If the meeting cannot be scheduled until after the new year,
Councilmember Peterson will take Mayor Gilbertson's place on the
Committee. Schedule such meeting. Meeting was held with
Hardin.

Pending/
Frolik

12/13/94

Christmas Tree Lot signs were discussed. The Council talked about
having the Planning Commission review the sign ordinance as it relates to
seasonal, etc. As discussion ensued, it appeared the consensus of the
Council was that this would be a good discussion for the workshop.
Councilmember Zimmerman stated he felt that with regard to Christmas
Tree farms, the signs should pertain more to the directional rather than to
the price of the trees.

Pending
Jankow
ski/Frol
ik

5/9/95

Councilmember Peterson requested information on why it's 600' for cul-
de-sac length - From a planning standpoint - should we keep it at that -
what's the reason for it He would also like input from public works
people and emergency people.

Pending/
Frolik

11/9/95

The Planning Commission was directed to perform an overall review of
Chapter 9 of the City Code since they are presently dealing with two
secnons in that chapter. If the Planning Commission feels any major
revisions are necessary, they are to return to City Council for discussion.

Pending/Frolik

3/26/96

Upon review of the draft language for the Comprehensive Plan
Amendment, Councilmember Zimmerman expressed a concern about
Highway g47 being included as a regional highway - It was suggested
that you include it (page 3 - 24) and the Met Council could always "X"
is out if they don't agree that it's a regional. It appears they have
grouped 47 with 116, etc. Check on that. 3-17 should not say two
locations- it should say Ford Brook and Trott Brook. Consensus of
the Council was that these changes should be made along with the map
changes and then it should be brought back to Council for review
again.

Pending/Frolik

4/9/96

Council approved the site plan for the expansion to Alloy Recovery
Company contingent upon the applicant entering into a development
agreement with the City, submittal of a landscape/screening plan and
modifying the site plan to provide B-612 concrete curbing around the
perimeter of bituminous from the front of the building to the front
property line. Council agreed that the release of the financial guarantee
until the curbing and pavement is installed and that the landscaping and
screening has been worked out. Execute development agreement.
