Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #97-03- <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDING OF FACT # RELATING TO A <br />REQUEST FROM RHONDA MORRIS FOR A CONDITI NO-"N-~L USE PERMIT FOR <br />AN OVERAGE IN THE AMOUNT OF ACCESSORY STRUCTURE SPACE <br />ALLOWED ON A PARCEL OF LAND <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey received an application from Rhonda Morris for a <br />conditional use permit for an overage in the amount of accessory structure space allowed on the <br />property generally known as 16735 Nowthen Blvd. N.W. and legally described as follows: <br /> <br />All that part of the Northwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 10, Township <br />32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota, except the East 644.00 feet of the South 468.00 <br />feet, as measured along the South and East lines, except that part taken for highway <br />purposes. <br /> <br />(the "Subject Property") <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA that the <br />findings of fact relating to the request are determined to be as follows: <br /> <br />That on February 7, 1997, Rhonda Morris, hereinafter referred to as "Applicant", properly <br />appLied for a conditional use permit for an overage in the amount of accessory structure <br />space allowed on the Subject Property. <br /> <br />That the applicant appeared before the Ramsey Planning Commission for a public hearing <br />pursuant to Section 9.03.04 of the City Code on March 4, 1997, and that said public <br />heating was properly advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are herebY <br />incorporated as a part of these findings by reference. <br /> <br />That the Subject Property and surrounding parcels are zoned R-1 Rural Residential. <br /> <br />That the Subject Property is approximately 35 acres in size. <br /> <br />That Section 9.11.02 of the Ramsey City Code states that on parcels of land 10.6 acres and <br />larger, the total square footage of the main garage and all accessory structures shall not <br />exceed 5,664 square feet and no single accessory structure shall exceed 4,800 square feet. <br /> <br />That the Applicant is proposing to purchase the property and breed and raise Arabian <br />horses for her own personal use. <br /> <br />That there are currently 4 accessory buildings on the property: 2 smaller sheds that the <br />Applicant proposes to demolish and remove, a 2,400 square foot barn and a 1,000 square <br />foot garage, for a net total of 3,400 square foot of garage and accessory buildings. <br /> <br />That the Subject Property is entitled to a total of 5,664 square feet of garage and accessory <br />building space and 2,264 square feet of that allotment remains. <br /> <br /> I <br /> i <br /> I <br /> I <br /> <br /> I <br /> i <br /> I <br /> Ii <br /> I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br /> <br />
