Councilmember moved for the adoption of the following resolution: RESOLUTION #97-04- A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT # RELATING TO A REQUEST FOR A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR A SEASONAL OUTDOOR RECREATIONAL FACILITY WHEREAS, Holm's Super Bowl, Inc., hereinafter referred to as "Applicant",' has properly applied for a Conditional Use Permit to establish seasonal outdoor volleyball courts and concessions on the property generally known as 6740 Hwy. #10 N.W. and legally described as follows: Lot I, Block 1, RIVERVIEW BOWL, Anoka County, Minnesota (the "Subject Property") NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: That the Applicant appeared before the Planning Commission for a public hearing pursuant to Section 9.03.04 of the Ramsey City Code on April 21, 1997, and that said public hearing was properly advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated by reference. That the subject property is located in the B-3 Highway Business District and is approximately 3 acres in size. That the surrounding parcels east, west and north are also zoned B-3 Highway Business. The adjacent parcel to the southeast is zoned R-1 urban Residential and the adjacent parcel to the southwest is currently zoned B-3 Highway Business. However, the owner of the parcel to the southwest has made official application to the City of Ramsey to rezone the parcel to R-1 Urban Residential. - That the Applicant is proposing to eliminate 2 pre-existing outdoor volleyball courts on the east side of the principal building and replace them with 4 courts on the west side of the building. o That Section 9.20.23 of the Ramsey City Code establishes that commercial recreational uses and on-sale liquor establishments are permitted uses within that District. 6. That Section 9.12.04 of the Ramsey City Code prohibits billboards in any district.
