I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />! <br />I <br />I <br />! <br />I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />! <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />! <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />PERSONNEL COMMITTEE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Personnel Committee conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, November 14, <br />1995, at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, <br />Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Glen Hardin <br />Councilmember Carolyn Beahen <br />Councilmember Sheila Beyer <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator Ryan Schroeder <br />Finance Officer Jessie Hart <br />City Engineer Steve Jankowski <br />Parks/Utilities Supervisor Mark Boos <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Councilmember Beyer called the regular meeting of the Personnel Committee to order at <br />6:04 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Linda Mayer, Accounting Clerk, stated she is present requesting to be removed from taking <br />minutes for the Park and Recreation Commission. She reported that she has been told it's <br />part of her job duties but she questioned why it couldn't be given back to AdminisWafive <br />Services where it would benefit the Park and Recreation Commission and the City in <br />general. <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />Councilmember Beyer suggested adding discussion pertaining to Ms. Mayer's request as <br />Case #4. <br /> <br />Councilmember Beyer then asked to have Case #2: Review Request for Councilmember <br />Participation ia Employee Group Health Plan removed from the agenda. She stated at the <br />time it was discussed, she was not aware it would affect all of Council. <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Hardin and seconded by Councilmember Beahen to approve the agenda <br />as amended. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Mayor Hardin, Councilmembers Beahen and Beyer. Voting <br />No: None. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: 1996 Staffing <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroeder stated that when the budget was addressed in 1995 for 1996, <br />there was some discussion of the impact to the personnel complement. It was the request <br />of Council that anything relating to impacts upon staffing should be brought back to the <br />Personnel Committee. Mr. Schroeder summarized the staffing.
