I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />· The Ramsey Planning Commission conducted a public hearing on Thursday, November 11, 1995 <br />at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota to hear <br />input regarding a request for an amended conditional use permit for a demolition concrete and <br />asphalt processing facility; case of Bury and Carlson, Inc. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Chairperson David Bawden <br />Commissioner Ben Deemer <br />Commissioner Terry Hendriksen <br />Commissioner Charles LaDue <br />Commissioner Michael Terry <br />Commissioner Bradley Thomd <br /> <br />Members Absent: Commissioner Paul Holland <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Engineer Steve Jankowski <br />Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairperson Bawden called the public hearing to order at 7:43 p.m. <br /> <br />PRESENTATION <br /> <br />1 <br />I <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik reported that the Ramsey City Council issued a conditional use permit <br />(CUP) to Bury and Carlson on August 25, 1992, to establish a heavy industrial use in the <br />Business Warehouse District. That use consists of a processing facility for demolition concrete <br />and asphalt. The site has been developed in accordance with the terms of the CUP.. She advised <br />that on September 20, 1995, the City of Ramsey received a request from Bury & Carlson, Inc. for <br />two revisions to the terms of their conditional use permit: eliminating the restriction of hours of <br />operation and the requirement for weekly sweeping of Jaspar Street and 143rd Avenue. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner LaDue to adjourn the public <br />hearing. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Motion carried, Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Deemer, LaDue, Hendriksen, <br />Terry, and Thorud. Voting No: None.
