PUBLIC RESOURCE <br />GROUP, INC. <br />Business Development & Finance Specialists <br /> <br /> Project Profile <br /> Minnesota Sports Federation <br />Minnesota Amateur Sports Center and Hall of Fame <br /> <br />INTrODUCTiON <br /> <br />The Minnesota Sports Federation is'a private, non-profit organization (501c3) <br />organized in 1982 to promote Minnesota amateur sports. MSF currently has over <br />200,000 members throughout the State of Minnesota and manages over 150 national, <br />state, regional, and invitational tournaments in 6 different sports throughout the State <br />of Minnesota. In the recent year, over. 650,000 people attended or participated in <br />these tournaments and activities. In addition, the MSF is committed to providing a <br />high quality, statewide, program to educate and train participants in the proper skills <br />necessary to compete. The organization is funded solely by membership/tournament <br />fees and corporate sponsorships. <br /> <br />Minnesota Sports Federation has received authorization from its Board of Directors <br />to initiate a site search for an integrated sports complex. The MSF is seeking <br />approximately a 10 acre site for construction of an indoor training and <br />basketball/volleyball/soccer/touch football/softball facility, as well as MSF's principal <br />office. In addition the complex Could contain 5 outdoor softball/baseball fields which <br />would require an additional 25 - 30 acres. This complex would be designed to help <br />meet the Minnesota Sports Federation's needs for it annual tournament schedule,~ a <br />home for the Minnesota Amateur Sports Hall of Fame, as well as provide space for <br />local recreational activities. <br /> <br />This project profile has been prepared t° provide an overview of the project and Seek <br />your interest in participating to complete this exciting project. <br /> <br />ABOUT THE MINNESOTA SPORTS FEDERATION <br /> <br /> The Minnesota Sports Federation succesSfully operates based upon its membership <br /> and tournament fees, and memorabilia sales. The Spbrts Federation has an annual <br /> operating budget of approximately $1,400,000 and has over 200,000 members and <br /> participants in the State of Minnesota.
