Ramsey Fire Department <br />Report for December 1995 and Year End <br /> <br />! <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />1. Incident Calls <br /> <br />The Ramsey Fire Department responded to a total of 26 calls during the month of <br />December. The final YTD incidents the RFD has responded to is 248. This <br />compares to a total for 1994 of 233. The breakdown of the December calls is as <br />follows: <br /> <br />Fire Related 20 <br />Rescue/Personal Injury <br /> <br />6 <br /> <br />A detailed report of these incidents is provided later in the report. Also provided is <br />g[aphs showing the comparison of 1993 and 1994 to 1995. <br /> <br />2. Training <br /> <br />The following training took place the month of December: <br /> <br />12-08-95 Chimney Fire Prep 2 hr <br /> Anoka Tech College <br /> <br />12-29-95 <br /> <br />Pump Training 4 hr <br />In-House Staff <br /> <br />Note: A mass casualty drill planned for 12-20-95 was canceled due to <br />Weather. <br /> <br />The following training is planned for January: <br /> <br />01-03-96 <br />01-17-96 <br />01-24-96 <br /> <br />Maps and Radio Communications <br />Annual Blood Borne Pathogens refresher <br />Strategy and Tactics <br /> <br />Also: 2 FF's were enrolled in First R:esponder Class (Lemm and Neameyer) <br /> 2 FF's were enrolled in FF1 (Faddler and Helgeson) <br /> <br />3. Major Maintenance <br /> <br />-All semi annual maintenance was completed on all vehicles in December. <br />-Engine #1 had to have the brakes repaired due to a ruptured diaphragm. <br />-All extinguishers have been serviced <br /> <br /> <br />
