CITY OF RAMSEY CONTRACT FOR TOWING SERVICES This contract, made and entered into this day of , by and between the City of Ramsey hereinafter referred to as "Municipality", and hereinafter referred to as "Contractor" sets forth the following terms: WHEREAS, the Mmficipality is in need of towing services: and WHEREAS, the Contractor is qualified and willing to provide such towing services; and WHEREAS, the Municipality wishes to enter into a contract with the Contractor to provide those services. NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants contained herein, it is agreed and understood as follows: I. TERM The term of this contract shall be from: terminated earlier as provided hereinl through, unless II. BASIC SERVICES The Contractor shall arrive at a police scene to tow, remove and store vehicles within twenty (20) minutes of being called by the City of Ramsey Police Department or by Central Communications. The Contractor must provide for the use of the Municipality, a minimum often (10) storage stalls within an area secured by a solid wall or fence of such height as to a solid wall or fence of such height as to prevent easy access to the grounds. This area must be on the business premises or immediately adjacent thereto and in no event shall be more that ten (10) miles from the approximate center point of the Municipality. 3. The Contractor must maintain a level of liability insurance as follows: a) Commercial General Liability The contractor shall take out and maintain at his own expense during the period from Commencement until final completion of the work under the contract, such public liability and property damage insurance as shall protect the Contractor and any subcontractor performing work covered by 11/I 7/95 I I I I I I I I I I I I
