11 / 17/95 e) Hourly rate for special clean up (non-routine sweeping) The rates charged will not vary regardless of the day of the week or the time of day. There shall be no charge for sweeping debris at the scene of a tow. 5. The Contractor will be responsible for the collection of all fees. o The Contractor must conduct all transactions with the Municipality and the public in a polite and businesslike manner. This contract may be terminated by either party, with or without cause, upon thirty (30) days written notice, delivered by mail or in person, to the other party. For purposes of such notification the addresses of the Municipality and the Contractor are as follows: Municipality: City of Ramsey 15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W. Rarnsey, Minnesota 55303 Contractor: ° Municipality Police Department vehicles will be towed from the point of breakdown within the City limits to a repair shop or the Ramsey Municipal Center, but in no event more than ten (10) miles, at no cost to the Municipality. The Contractor must have radio or radio/telephone communication in vehicles used for police towing so as to have immediate communication via radio or phone with police officials or police dispatchers. 10. Payment for invoices to the Municipality will be made within thirty (30) days of receipt. 11. Records of police initiated towing incidents will be open, at reasonable hours, to inspection by an agent of the Ramsey Police Department. 12. Any material alterations, modifications or variations of the terms of this contract shall be valid and enforceable only when they have been presented in writing as an amendment and signed by the parties.
