I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I

By:

PUBLIC WORKS MONTHLY REPORT
DECEMBER 1995
Merle Mevissen, Public Works Supervisor

Most of the time spent in December was snow plowing and sanding of streets; a close
second was vacation. We did some equipment maintenance consisting of oil changes and
repair of broken springs. Building maintenance consisted of repairing sheetrock damage
due to I-IVAC and exhaust fan installation.

Some street signs were installed that were on order and arrived during the winter. The
posts for these signs were installed last fail before the ground froze.

Boulevard damage repair consisted of repairing the shoulder on Armstrong Boulevard at
167th Avenue, due to one of our plows digging in the gravel shoulder and tearing off a
piece of blacktop. There wasn't much damage, mostly putting gravel back in place.
