I <br />I <br /> <br /> I <br /> I <br /> <br /> I <br />:1 <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> <br />Councilmember <br /> <br />intxoduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION g96-03- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT # TO REZONE CERTAIN <br />PROPERTY FROM B-1 BUSINESS TO R-1 Ri3-~'AN RESIDENTIAL <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City received an application to rezone certain property in accordance <br />with Section 9'.03.03 of the Ramsey City Code; and <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSE¥, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />That Blaine Edmundson, hereinafter referred to as "Applicant", has properly applied to <br />rezone~certain property from B-1 Business to R-1 Urban Residential. <br /> <br />That the Planning Commission conducted a public hearing pursuant to Section 9.03.03 of <br />the City Code on March 4, 1996 and that said public hearing was properly advertised and <br />that th6 minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated by reference. <br /> <br />3. That the property proposed to be rezoned is legally described as follows: <br /> <br />That part of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 24, Township 32, <br />Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota, described as follows: <br /> <br />Beginning at the northwest comer of said Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter; <br />thence North 89 degrees 06 minutes 12 seconds East, assumed bearing along the north line <br />of said Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter a distance of 346.36 feet; thence South <br />00 degrees 18 minutes 48 seconds East a distance of 360.22 feet; thence North 89 degrees <br />41 minutes 12 seconds East a distance of 197.58 feet; thence South 78 degrees 39 minutes <br />38 seconds East a distance of 147.23 feet; thence South 24 degrees 38 minutes 26 seconds <br />East a distance of 325.05 feet; thence South 68 degrees 07 minutes 04 seconds West a <br />distance of 443.62 feet; thence South 21 degrees 52 minutes 56 seconds East a distance of <br />183.00 .feet; thence South 68 degrees 07 minutes 04 seconds West a distance of 142.10 <br />feet; thence North tX) degrees 18 minutes 48 seconds West a distance of 37.71 feet; thence <br />South 87 degrees 28 minutes 31 seconds West a distance of 204.75 feet; thence South 89 <br />degrees 41 minutes 12 seconds West a distance of 140.00 feet to the west line of said <br />Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter; thence North 00 degrees 18 minutes 48 <br />seconds West along said west line a distance of 1038.32 feet to the point of beginning. <br /> <br />and upon recording: <br /> <br />Brandscth, except Ouflot A, Anoka County, Minnesota <br /> <br />The total area of the property to be rezoned is approximately eleven (11) acres. <br /> <br />That tho subject property is currently zoned B-I Business. <br /> <br />That the properties to the north, east and west are zoned B-1 Business and the property to <br />the south is zoned R-1 Urban Residential. <br /> <br />io5' <br /> <br /> <br />
