CASE # / <br />REVIEW DRAFT LANGUAGE FOR CITY OF RAMSEY <br />' COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENT <br />Background: <br />' At the beginning of the year, the City Council and the Planning Commission suggested <br />language changes to the draft comprehensive plan amendment. Those changes have been <br />' incorporated into the draft and are submitted for your review at this time as a separate <br />enclosure to this agenda. <br />' <br />Observations: <br />The changes to the language originally presented are represented by strikeouts for deletions <br />and underlines for additions. The following pages of the comprehensive plan draft were <br />amended per comments from City Council and the Planning Commission: <br />Page 2 -15 <br />Page 3 -24 <br />Page 3 -25 <br />Page 3 -26 <br />Page 3 -28 <br />' <br />page 3 -29 <br />Page 3 -32 <br />The Council also directed that the land use map be changed to identify <br />commercialrndustrial uses on the north side of County Road #116, as well as the south <br />side, between County Roads 56 and 83. Any tables in the plan text affected by this change <br />will also be modified accordingly. Also in accordance with Council direction, the <br />' transportation map will be modified to extend County Road #116 west from County Road <br />56 to Highway #10 west of Armstrong Blvd., and continue with a local collector street <br />from the general Puma. Street location to 153rd Avenue N.W. <br />If Council finds the text acceptable, RLK will be directed to prepare the final draft version. <br />This version will be forwarded to Metro Council for their review and comment prior to <br />scheduling the City Council public hearing. <br />Recommendation: <br />City Staff recommends approval of the draft comprehensive plan amendment. <br />Council Action: <br />Motion to: <br />Approve the proposed text for the comprehensive plan amendment and direct Staff <br />to forward same to Metro Council for review. <br />CC: 3/26/96 <br />13-7 <br />
