CASE # 5 <br />ADOPT ORDINANCE TO REZONE CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM B -1 <br />BUSINESS TO R -1 URBAN RESIDENTIAL; CASE OF BLAINE EDMUNDSON <br />By: Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br />■ Background: <br />' Blaine Edmundson is in the process of platting Brandseth. The plat consists of approximately 22 <br />acres located west of T.H. #47 and south of 153rd Avenue N.W. A majority of the property is <br />zoned B -1 Business and rezoning a portion of it to residential is required to accommodate the 40 <br />single family rgsidential lots proposed. On March 12, 1996, the City Council adopted findings of <br />' fact and introduced an ordinance to rezone a portion of the property from B -1 Business to R -1 <br />Urban Residential. <br />The following items are enclosed for your information: <br />a) Site location map <br />b) Proposed ordinance <br />Observations: <br />The ordinance is eligible for adoption at this time. <br />' Recommendation: <br />City Staff recommends adoption of the ordinance at this time. <br />Council Action: <br />' Motion to: <br />Adopt Ordinance #96 Lk to rezone certain property from B -1 Business to R -1 Urban <br />Residential. <br />J <br />1 CC: <br />1 <br />3/26/96 <br />(JI <br />I <br />
