City approval/denial is necessary under the <br />State Statutes. PERM meets all of the requirements which allows them to remain exempt from <br />licensing, primarily from the standpoint that the items to be raffled are valued at less than <br />$750.00. ~ <br /> <br />Approval requires nothing more than a motion followed by a letter to the Gambling Control <br />Board, while if tke request is denied, a formal resolution for denial would need to be prepared <br />and submitted to the Gambling Control Board. <br /> <br /> <br />
