CHARTER ~OMMISSION BY ADOPTION OF THE FOLLOWINg: <br /> <br />SECTION 8.6 .SEWER AND WATER PROJECTS. This section applies to any <br />local improvement project authorized by the city council after the <br />effective da~e of this section. It applies to the portion of such <br />local improvement projects applicable specifically to the extension <br />of water and sewer improvements. <br /> <br />8.6.1 CONNECTION ~OLIOY. The owner of any property covered <br />by Section 8.6 shall be allowed to delay connection to <br />municipal water and sanitary sewer for up to ten years <br />following the installation of the initial on site systems or <br />for such longer period as may be authorized by the city <br />council. <br /> <br />8.6.2 ASSEESMENT POLICY. If the residential property owner <br />has petitioned against municipal water and sanitary sewer <br />pursuan~ to this chapter, the city shall defer assessments <br />attributed to municipal water and sanitary sewer construction <br />for up ~o ten years following the installation of the initial <br />on site Systems or for such longer period as may be authorized <br />by the city council. <br /> <br /> <br />
