I I I I I I I I I I I I I I i I I I Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #96-05-~ RESOLUTION RECEIVING PETITION AND CALLING FOR A STUDY ON ~VIPROVEMENT PROJECT #96-20 (OAKRIDGE PARK STREET IMPROVEMENTS) FEASIBILITY INDUSTRIAL WHEREAS, the City has received a petition for a feasibility study to consider the street improvements of 0akridge Industrial Park; and WHEREAS, the City Administrator has found the petition to be of the correct percentage of lawful signatures of affected property owners; and WHEREAS, the City Administrator has found the petition to be in accordance with the City Charter and Minnesota Statutes concerning local improvements. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That a cert~j'n petition requesting a feasibility study to consider the street improvements of Oakridge Industrial Park has been filed with the City Council on May 14, 1996. The petition is ihereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of affected property owners. Tflx. is declaration is made in conformity to City of Ramsey Code Section 4.60 and Minnesota Statute Chapter 429. 2) That the po4.. ition is hereby referred to Steve Jankowski, City Engineer, and he is insu'ucted to prepare a feasibility study to the City Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in It preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to the cost of the project to each affected property owner. The City Engineer shall also comment as to whether it should best be done as proposed or in conjunction with some other improvement. 3) That the above mentioned project shall hereby be referred to as Improvement Project ~96- 20. The motion for the iadoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon VOte being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 14th day of MaY, 1996.
