I I I i I I I I I I I I I I I I I Councilmember Beyer introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #96- - RESOLUTION APPROVING 1996 - 1997 LABOR AGREEMENT WITH AFSCME COUNCIL 14 WHEREAS, the American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees Council 14 Local 2454 represents all public works and clerical employees in the City of Ramsey who are not confidential or supervisory; and WHEREAS, representatives of the Local and management have negotiated a contract for 1996 and 1997; and and WHEREAS, on May 20, 1996 the employees in the Local ratified the agreement; and WHEREAS, the agreement represents a 4.83% increase in wages and benefits in 1996; WHEREAS, the agreement represents a 4.93% increase in wages and benefits in 1997. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ILAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: The 1996 - 1997 Labor Agreement with AFSCME Council 14 is hereby approved. The motion for flae adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Peterson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this this 28th ~y of May, 1996.
