Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #96-05- <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING BUDGET AMENDMENT ALLOCATING $525 FROM <br /> THE COUNCIL CONTINGENCY FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE MOBILE RADIO <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City crews currently utilizes City owned vehicles during the normal <br /> course of business; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the to provide communication devices in all City <br /> vehicles for the health, safety and welfare of City employees and citizens; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is anticipated that the total cost, including set-up and installation will be <br /> approximately $525; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, no funding was provided for in the Adopted 1996 Operating Budget for <br />such a purchase; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has the ability to provide funding for this purchase <br />through a re-allocation of the Council Contingency within the Adopted 1996 Operating Budget. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes a budget amendment allocating $525 <br /> form the Council Contingency Fund for the purchase of one mobile radio. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br />I <br />I <br />i <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 28th day of May, 1996. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />I <br />I' <br /> <br />City Administrator <br /> <br />I <br />I <br /> <br /> <br />
