Voting Yes: Mayor Hardin, Councilmembers Beahen and Beyer. <br />No: None. Absent: None. <br /> <br />COMMISSION BUSINESS <br /> <br />Vo~g <br /> <br />Case gl: Probationary Review of Senior Accountant Diana Lund <br /> <br />Finance Officer Hart summarized that Diana Lund began her employment with the City of <br />Ramsey on Jute 1, 1995, in the full-time position of Senior Accountant in salary grade 13, <br />in the Finance~Department. The probationary period for new employees is six months. On <br />November 3g, 1995, Ms. Lund completed her six-month probationary period, her <br />appraisal has been conducted and staff is recommending retaining Ms. Lund as a regular <br />full-time employee. <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Hardin and seconded by Councilmember Beahen to recommend Council <br />retain Diana Limd as a full-time, regular employee, effective December I, 1995. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Mayor Hardin, Councilmembers Beahen and Beyer. Voting <br />No: None. <br /> <br />Case g2: Drug and Alcohol Testing for Employees Required to Hold <br /> Commercial Driver's License <br /> <br />Finance Offic~ Hart explained that the Federal Omnibus Transportation Employee Testing <br />Act of 1991 requires drug and alcohol testing of employees driving motor vehicles in <br />safety-sensiti¢e functions. Prior to 1994, local governments were only required to do such <br />testing of their mass transit employees.
