I I I I I I I I ,I I Motion by MayOr Hardin and seconded by Councilmember Beahen to recommend Council authorize alloc~ttion of $8,000 from the 1996 Council contingency fund for the Environmental Specialist position. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Hardin, Councilmembers Beahen and Beyer. Voting No: None. Case #4: Request of Linda Mayer to be Removed from Minute Taking Finance OfficerHart stated that at the November 14, 1995 Personnel Committee meeting, Linda Mayer, Accounting Clerk, requested that one of her job duties be eliminated and shifted to Adrninistmtive Services. We are asking the Personnel Committee not to make changes at this time relative to h~r request as there may be some options available in 1996. We have additional clerical time funded, maybe we could shift some things around. Councilmember Beyer felt that could be a resolution to this and asked if a time limit could be set. City Administrator Schroeder stated that we are not certain how we will ask for the allocation of hours, etc. Ms. Hart reported that if this position is approved, staff would come to the City Council with a recommendation on hours, etc. Councilmember Beyer asked that this subject be discussed again at the January meeting and that there be a time limit set for action on the request. Motion by Councilmember Beahen and seconded by Mayor Hardin to direct staff to bring this issue back -to the Personnel Committee for discussion in January. Motion carded; Voting Yes: Mayor Hardin, Councilmembers Beahen and Beyer. Voting No: None. ADJOURNMENT Motion by Mayor Hardin and seconded by Councilmember Beahen to adjourn the meeting.
