As the <br />repons show, the City issued 50 new home permits which compares to the 20 projected during this <br />period in the residential activity forecast. This brings the total single family home permits to 106 <br />for the year. This rate of construction puts the City on a path to construct a total of 235 new homes <br />in 1996, which will result in a population increase of approximately 806 people, bringing the <br />estimated total population to 17,939. <br /> <br />As many of you may be aware, this is the second most active month for new home permits that the <br />has occurred in the City of Ramsey. This increase in activity has resulted in these reports being <br />delayed and in tho shifting of the data entry function to the support staff to provide for more timely <br />reporting. The City has also seen a large increase in the overall number of permits issued resulting <br />in limited time being available for the building official and inspector to answer phone inquiries. <br /> <br />If you have any questions concerning these reports, please contact me. <br /> <br /> <br />
