Motion by Councilmember Beahen and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to appoint <br />Linda Waite Smith to the position of Administrative Services Manager including the list of <br />duty areas as listed. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Hardin, Councilmembers Beahen, Beyer, Peterson <br />and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #15: Report from Road and Bridge Committee <br /> <br />1) Proposed Changes to County State Aid Highway System <br /> <br />City Engineer jankowski explained that the proposed changes to the County State Aid <br />Highway System would realize a net change of 6.5 miles in State Aid designation. He <br />recommended Supporting the County MSA changes. <br /> <br />Motion by Cotlncilmember Zimmerman and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to adopt <br />Resolution g95-12-279 supporting the proposed changes to the County State Aid Highway <br />System. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Hardin, Councilmembers Zimmerman, Beyer, Beahen <br />and Peterson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />2) Change Order for Improvement Project #95-18 <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski stated there was a minor change to Improvement Project g95-18, <br />which consists of relocating a manhole to avoid ~-affic disruption. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman and seconded by Councilmember Beahen to <br />approve Change Order #1 for Improvement Project g95-18 in the mount of $648.14. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Hardin, Councilmembers Zimmerman, Beahen, Beyer <br />and Peterson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />3) Consulting Engineering Services for 1996 Construction Projects <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski summarized several projects which he felt engineering services <br />should be selected for as soon as possible. <br /> <br />Motion by 'C°uncilmember zimmennan and seconded by Councilmember Beahen to <br />negotiate a change of scope contract with John Oliver & Associates, Inc. with regard to <br />Wetland #114P mitigation for filling associated with Sunwood Drive. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Hardin, Councilmembers Zimmerman; Beahen, Beyer <br />and Peterson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Beahen and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman, with <br />regard to the extension of Sunwood Drive from C.R. #56 to C.R. #116 and sanitary sewer <br />and watermain!extension to AEC Energy Park - to accept Hakanson Anderson proposal in <br />the not-to-exceed amount of $24,800 for basic engineering services and consu-uction, <br />staking and inspection on an hourly basis estimated at $28,500. <br /> <br />Motion carried_.
