,I <br /> <br /> PUBLIC HEARING <br />BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Board of Adjustment conducted a public hearing on Tuesday, April 2, 1996 at the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota to hear input <br />regarding a request for a variance to construct an accessory structure nearer the front property line <br />than the principal structure; case of William Schrader. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Chairperson Benjamin Deemer <br />Board Member David Bawden <br />Board Member Paul Holland <br />Board Member Sharon Jensen <br />Board Member Charles LaDue <br />Board Member Bradley Thomd <br /> <br />Board Member Michael Terry <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairperson Deemer called the public hearing to order at 7:05 p.m. <br /> <br />PRESENTATION <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik explained that the lot at 16750 Wolverine Circle N.W. is a classic case <br />for a variance in 'that the side and rear yards are consumed by septic system, well and sharp <br />declines in topography, and is inundated with mature tree growth. She submitted for the record a <br />letter received in favor of the variance from Keith Finkbeiner, owner of Lot 22, Block 3 Hunters <br />Ridge, one of the properties notified of this public hearing. <br /> <br />Chairperson Deemer stated that he observed the property and found the facts to be consistent. He <br />added that he spoke with one of the owners and learned that they are down-sizing from their <br />original request. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Board Member Thomd and seconded by Board Member Bawden to adjourn the public <br />hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Deemer, Board Members Thomd, Bawden, Holland, <br />Jensen, LaDue, and Terry.
