Mr. Steven Jankowski, P.E. <br /> <br />- 4 - May 14, 1996 <br /> <br />BASIS OF PAYMENT <br /> <br />We would propose to be reimbursed for our services on an hourly basis at a rate of 2.5 <br />times salary cost for the actual time expended, for the out-of-pocket expenses (printing, <br />reproduction, etc.) at cost and for mileage not-to-exceed the IRS approved rate of $.31 <br />per mile, Invoices would be submitted on a monthly basis for work performed during <br />the previous month with payment due within 30 days. <br /> <br />We estimate that the cost to perform these services would not exceed $6,600 for Task <br />Group I, $3,000 for Task Group Il, $2,000 for Task Group II1, $10,200 for Task <br />Group IV, $3,000 for Task Group V and $24,800 total for all task groups. We are <br />prepared to proceed with this study at your direction and estimate completion of these <br />Preliminary Engineering Study tasks as shown on the attached Preliminary Project <br />Schedule. This Preliminany Project Schedule also outlines the additional steps to be <br />completed in future project phases. <br /> <br />NOTICE TO PROCEED <br /> <br />A signed copy of this proposal or a separate letter of authorization returned to this office <br />will serve as notice to proceed.
