The Council in <br />its discretion can choose to either submit the ordinance at a <br />general or !special election or the Council can reconsider its <br />action in a~opting the ordinance. <br /> <br />Presumably, the statutory procedure above outlined, with a petition <br />for a referendum could be invoked, .yen if the voters recommend <br />approval ofithe amendment at an advisory election. Therefore, if <br />an ~~election is held, there could be two election~ held on <br />the same question. <br /> <br /> <br />
