Councilmemi~er adoption: introduced the following resolution and moved for its RESOLUTION g96-04- RESOLUTION RECEIVING AND AWARDING BID FOR THE 1996 ANNUAL ~!PRING PET CLINIC WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has advertised and received bids for the opportunity tO serve as the exclusive veterinarian for thc City of Ramsey at its 1996 spring pet clinic. Tl4e following bid was received: Veteriparian 1567(J NE 90th Street Elk River, MN 55330 Shot Cost Rabies (canine & feline) $3.00 DHLP-P (canine) $9.00 Pan RC-C-P $6.00 NOW THEgEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby awards the opportunity to serve as veteri~arian for the 1996 City of Ramsey Spring Pet Clinic to AMVET - Elk River Animal Hospital. 2) That the City of Ramsey should add a slight increase to the cost of the shots to help defray the cost of Staff time. 3) That it is mandatory that residents owning pets must license them, therefore, no shots will be given to an unlicensed pet. 4) That Council authorizes lowering the license fee to $3.00 for neutered/spayed and $5.00 for un-neutered dogs and cats (on the day of the Pet Clinic only). The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon s~d resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this tl~e 9th day of April 1996.
