F A PREMIER GOLF COURSE COM~

March 12, 1996

Mr. Steve Jankowski
City Engineer
Ramsey City Hall
15153 Nowthen Blvd.
Ramsey, Minnesota 55303

Re: Storm Sewer Improvements
Andrie Street ~~
Dear Mr. Jankowski: ~ ~

Please find enclosed Plans and Specs and a~.~s~ anatysis prepared by Ulteig
Engineering regarding proposed storm sewer improvements along Andrie Street.

As you are aware in July of 1995 North Fork received approval for a Conditional
Use Permit for grading operations on Lots 5, 6, 7 and 8, Block 3, Northfork Links
Addition. This approval was conditioned on the ability of the City Engineer and
North Fork to address certain flooding problems along Andrie Street which occurred
during heavy rains. The flooding is caused by the lack of adequate storm sewer.

As you are aware numerous discussions have taken place regarding the'
procedures for correcting the overflow problem. It is our understanding that the
enclosed Plans and Specs reflect a reasonable solution to the problem arrived
at by you and Gerry Flodin at Ulteig.

As you are also aware North Fork has discussed the apportionment of the costs
involved with City Administrator Ryan Schroeder and yourself. It is North Fork's
understanding that the City would be willing to assume certain restoration costs
involved in the project. Estimates of these costs are included in Ulteig's
submittals.

As you are also further aware the executed Development Agreement for North-
fork Itasca Shores referenced these general agreements and allowed North Fork the
option t6 proceed in this regard.

This letter confirms North Fork's decision to proceed with these improvements
contingent on your approval of the Plans and Specs; the City's willingness to
bear the costs previously identified and the City's willingness to "reactivate"
the above-referenced Conditional Use Permit.

Work would be done this Spring as part of the improvements to Itasca Shores.

Developed by North Fork, Inc.

713 Bradford Ave. No., Champlin, MN 55316 · 484~7421
