I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I Commercial use .vehicles and' e/luipment intended to be parked/stored outside that cannot meet the criteria established in c. 1 and 2 but can provide for altea-natives to same, shall be required to obtain an Interim Use Permit.' The Intexim Use Permit shall be processed utilizing the ~same fee, escrows and procedures established for Conditional Use Permits in Section 9.03.04 of the Ramsey City Code. Active agriculture use and'equipment necessary to sustain that use are allowed and not required to be parked on prepared surfaces or sca'eened. All private and commercial use vehicles and equipment, owned or leased, must be registered with the Department of Motor Vehicles, State of Minnesota, at the address where is it being parked/stored or to the address of the employer of the person or persons residing on the property where it is stored. All properties shall come into compliance with the terms of this Section no later than November 30, 1997. Section 9.02 (Def'mitions) is hereby mended to include the following definitions: "Driveway" - An on-site traffic lane leading directly to a garage from the closest street access¢ the width of which cannot exceed the garage width by more than 15 feet, or in the absence of a garage, a traffic lane to a parking pad that canot exceed 20 feet in width. "Equ!pment, Commercial Use" - Any motorized or non-motorized apparatus whose primary use is to facilitate the generation of revenue. "EqUipment, Private Use" ~ Any motorized or non-motorized apparatus whose primary use is for personal activities not related to generating revenue or profit. "Motor Vehicle, Commercial Use" - Any device designed to be self-propelled that is eligible for legal operation on the public roads and highways and whose primary use is to facilitate the generation of revenue. This may include standard passenger automobiles, trucks and vans displaying company logos and/or advertisements. "Motor Vehicle, Private Use" - Any device which is designed to be self propelled, is eligible for legal operation on the public roads and highways, and whose primary use is to transport persons and/or property for personal or recreational activities. For purposes of this Chapter, private use motor vehicles shall include operable vintage/classic cars and race cars. "Ope,rable Motor Vehicle" - A vehicle that can be presented in a self-propelled condition within seven (7) days of the City's request for such action. "Prepared Surface" - The entire area under a vehicle or piece of equipment_ plus a one-foot exteaaded perimeter. SECTION 2. REPEAL The following language in Section 9.11.10 (Off Street Parking) is hereby repealed:
